A shirt is defined by collar & cuffs
In addition to the cut, the collar and cuffs primarily determine the style of a shirt. Collars, in particular, are an exciting fashion trend that is constantly evolving.
💡 The narrower the collar, the sportier it is. The wider it is, the more impressive it is.
The shark collar was popular for a long time, but now you can see the wide Kent collar or even the tab collar making a comeback more and more often.
My style: Wide collars with a casual fall
For me, wide collars have always been a must. A collar should stand out under a jacket or sweater and define the look – that's exactly what makes a shirt so appealing to me. I think the combination of a wide, classic collar and casual streetwear is simply brilliant.
While Italian shirts are often reinforced with solid interlinings , I deliberately opted for a soft collar :
✔ Wide & striking , but with a natural fall
✔ Hardly any insoles , for a relaxed look
✔ Casual & understated , perfect for modern styles
Care: How to keep your collar perfect
After washing and drying, simply iron the collar briefly to shape it. Wearing it will do the rest – the collar will adjust naturally.
Cuffs? Round & with one button!
And the cuffs? Round and with just one button. Anything else is too formal for me.
