Handcraft is at the heart of my brand. From the very beginning, "Truly Handmade" has been a central part of my philosophy. I'm proud that my clothes are still made by hand—a detail I like to share. But not everyone immediately connects with what I mean.
Unfortunately, there are people who associate handcraft with exploitation or modern slavery. This is not unfounded, considering the working conditions in low-wage countries where underpaid workers decorate clothing with sparkling Swarovski crystals. But my idea of handcraft is completely different.
Handmade fashion from Naples – tradition meets exclusivity
My shirts are made in Naples by experienced seamstresses , some of whom learned their craft in Kiton's workshops. This art of hand-stitching shirts is rare anywhere else in the world. Each piece is unique, crafted with precision by hand. This method of production represents the highest level of exclusivity and is also reflected in the manufacturing costs.
Hand-knitted sweaters from Peru – luxury from master craftsmen
My Peruvian knitwear is also truly handmade. There are still experienced knitters there who spend hours crafting sweaters by hand – an art that is becoming increasingly rare worldwide. These high-quality garments come at a price, as an alpaca sweater like this costs several hundred dollars to purchase.
